Facebook is a great place to meet women. You can activate your
network and instantly connect with many women at the same time from the
comfort of your home.
Recently, a very close female friend of mine told me how she loves to connect her girlfriends with her male friends through Facebook.
Unfortunately, most guys don't know how to properly use Facebook, and even when they connect with a girl, they end up being just another contact.
Here are 5 mistakes to avoid:
1. Not introducing yourself after becoming friend
I remember a good friend of mine who asked me to connect him with one of my female friends, which I did. As soon as they connected, he didn't send her any messages to introduce himself. One week later, she unfriended him. Never assume friendship-build it. Be proactive and introduce yourself.
2. Liking and commenting too much on her pictures
Unless you're blind, you'll notice that women LOVE to post "sexy" or party pictures of themselves-which, of course, the average guy will "like" and comment with "Stunning!" or "I'm in love!". Don't be like that. Doing so will immediately put you in the Friend Zone. It's just logic 101. If you behave like all of other male friends, then you're like them in her eyes.
3. Not having an interesting life
Think of Facebook as a place where you can showcase your lifestyle. I like to post pictures of me travelling or of the funny/interesting things I see in my day-to-day life. Avoid abusing the use of quotes, ranting, and anything that is not relevant to YOUR life. And most importantly, never get caught in Facebook arguments or fights. Nothing says,"I don't have a real life" more than that!
4. Not expressing your intent and staying in Facebook
As soon as you become Facebook friends, you should make it clear that you want to meet her. Don't waste time hoping. Spend some time on her profile and message her with an invitation to do something that you believe both of you would love. Make sure to also get her phone and CALL HER. It's easy to get trapped in the Facebook dimension, but remember that nothing will replace live interaction.
5. Not knowing how to turn a friend into a girlfriend
When you finally meet her or even talk to her, your behavior (and the things you say) will either direct you to become her boyfriend or to the Friend Zone. There is NO in-between.
Unfortunately, because a lot of guys fear embarrassment or rejection, they'll automatically (even without realizing it) adopt a behavior that will get them into the Friend Zone.
