get ideas for your articles. Content needs to be relevant to your
readers and therefore the best place to go for ideas is the very place
your readers go!
Whatever your niche topic is that you write about you will probably know where people who are interested in this topic go to found out information. These are the types of places you can go to find out the questions and discussions that are going in and these are the things you can then write about.
Here are my 3 tips on where to go:
Blogs
Go to the most popular blogs in your niche and in particular the blogs that get lots of comments from the readers.
Look at those comments are you will find plenty of ideas for content! People will be asking questions, giving their opinion and sharing ideas.
You can take these comments and then write an article about it.
Forums
Go and visit the forums that talk about topics that you write about. Have a look at the discussions that people are having and the kind of questions and comments that are being left.
By reading through these you will come up with plenty of ideas that you can then write about.
You can also look at the various topics categories that the forum has ands use that for content ideas.
Facebook
There are lots of Facebook groups that you can join where a group of people with a common interest chat about their experiences related to that interest.
Often people in these groups chat in a more relaxed and informal way and therefore you are likely to discover extra topics and bits of information that you might not on a blog or forum.
This is a great place to go and hang out. Chatting with other people and finding out what they like reading or talking about will not only give you ideas for articles but will also provide you with really relevant and current issues that people are talking about.
If you use this for ideas and then write about it you will be providing content that is up to date and really relevant.
I'm sure that you can come up with other places you could use for content than the few I have listed above. Anywhere where people interested in your topic are chatting is a great place for you to hang out too.
