Can We Reverse The Mass Media Brainwashing And Deprogram Our Mentally Weak Population?

Lord Rothschild once stated; "it is amazing what you can get humans to believe," and to that point, not only is he right, but it is a weakness of the human mind. Apparently everyone wants to believe in something, and they're willing to cling to anything which answers their questions, promises to solve their problems, or individual that promises to make everything all right. It's much like the "pied piper" syndrome where everyone follows in lockstep without asking questions.

Somehow conditioned to believe what they are seeing is something other than it actually is, until someone yells out; "the Emperor has no clothes," and still, some people need to be dragged away screaming and hollering because they are in denial of the truth even when it is right in front of them. How can people be so blind you ask? Well, what of religion?

On March 1, 1979 there was an interesting paper published in the American Journal of Psychiatry titled; "Coercive Persuasion (brainwashing), Religious Cults, and Deprogramming," which stated in its abstract;
"Psychiatric interviews and psychological testing were conducted with 50 members of former members of a variety of religious cults who contacted the authors about the issue of deprogramming. The subjects were divided into four groups: cult members who feared deprogramming, those who had returned to the cult after deprogramming, ex-cult members who had left after deprogramming, and those who had left without deprogramming."

Now then, I certainly realize that this study was done for cult-like groups, but is this research significant enough to help us with another problem we have? Namely, the challenges we have with mass media brainwashing, it very much affects the weaker minds of our population. We can see this by corporate branding and marketing, but also with political campaigns, political propaganda, and Teleprompter generated and specifically stated psycho-language. After all, the best minds in the world doing this psychological manipulation to sell goods and services to consumers, also work on political campaigns.

Is there a way to deprogram a population who believes that money grows on trees, and that the government can continually print money and give them free money for all they could ever want, while always protecting them, and preventing the economy from being destroyed in the process? It seems we are brainwashing our population and to the belief that socialism actually works, even though if they had studied their history in the very academic setting where much of this brainwashing occurs, they would figure out that it doesn't work. How can so many people be misled so easily?

Now then, the last question was rhetorical because I think after reading this article you understand what is going on, the question is what can we do about it? Can we deprogram the masses which are being conditioned to join the Borg, or some giant social media and social networking experiment?
You see, I believe we can, and rather than allow the entire system to collapse before everyone has learned this lesson, maybe we should reverse engineer some of that mass media brainwashing and deprogram our mentally weak population. After all we may need to do this just to save our country in the future. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
